CONS: power usage and heat

is it definitely DX10 only?

PS> these are XFX 9800GX2 so do have 1gb ram
1 GB ram for whole card, 512 MB per GPU. imagine GTX 460 SLI with only 512 MB. serious bottleneck. I'm doing sli with 768 MB and i'm already maxing out vram regularly, assuming that it spills a bit into system ram as well.

High temps, inefficient, lack of dx11, micro stuttering, takes up 2 x16 slots, the list goes on and on. But it is good at folding, though.

Its always better to buy a single card than SLI or XFire two because of drivers. And the GeForce 9000 series is way old, meaning as it has been said that its way less efficient than newer cards and of course no DX11. Even if you already have one, it would be wiser to sell it and buy one new card from the GF 500 or HD 6000 series, than getting a second and SLI them.
