[HH] Inno3D iChill GeForce GTX 560 Graphics Card Review

Just over a week ago NVIDIA launched their latest GPU, the GTX 560 which was designed to fill the gap between their GTX 550 Ti and GTX 560 Ti, an area where there was a quite a large price gap. By basing the new 560 on the same core as the Ti version, rather than overclocking a GTX 550 GPU they created a product which competed well and right from day one we saw manufacturers releasing custom design models with enhanced specifications.

Looks like a nice upgrade for the last-gen mid-range market. I like the fact they cheapened it by not including the bundle too. All the extra stuff in the package that I probably won't use, doesn't need to be there.

Nice to see Portal 2 as one of the tests, though it should be common knowledge by now that any decent GPU can play games using the Source-engine.

On topic, nice card! But is it normal to do reviews like this where it's not being compared to other cards? Obviously, I could look up reviews of other cards, but how would i know whether there's a significant difference if the rest of the hardware is different? For example, why weren't the 550 and 560Ti used?

EDIT I edited this post like 4 times tongue.gif
