Well, it depends on your point of view. Age of Consent in Japan is lower than in the USA/Canada/Australia. I believe Age of Consent in Japan is 16, and not 18. So, to them, no, it's not pedophilia. To the rest of us sheltered, christian-based countries, it is.

And it's about damn time the Aussie government loosen's its grip on this. I mean, adult entertainment (pics/movies) are allowed in Australia, yeah? R-rated movies? So why such a discrepency with games?
