You started with blues and then said maybe browns. If you want a keyboard that is clicky like the blues consider a used IBM Model M with the buckling springs. I just snatched one on ebay for $40. They are stiffer but are pretty satisfying. I grew up typing on my dad's. Didn't realize what a jewel it was until he tossed it along with our 286 and we ended up with a rubber dome with our Pentium. If you've never had a mechanical keyboard before it's a great, cheap way to get in on the game.
