Your PSU is going to choke if you go SLI 580 or CF 6970 and your case would have a hard time dealing with the heat output of two 580 Lightnings since they vent back into the case.
My case can't fit the lightnings so I'm going for a new build. Looking hard at the corsair 600t white case, a corsair ax850, and an Intel 320...

You might want to look at the RV03 if you are sticking to air cooling, one of the best air cooling cases available.

Get an Agility 3 from OCZ. They cost the same as the 320 series and are way faster.

I would say get nothing, but then I saw the recommendation for an SSD and better cooler and I was swayed. New tech is coming out and it would be a waste to spend it on gpu's. But those things would make a difference without becoming outdated and cheap later on.

SSD would be a good upgrade.

Also have you noticed that your screen is quite unpopular from reviews I've been reading. You may think about an upgrade to a better screen. Just a thought.

By screen do you mean my monitor? If so, I couldn't disagree more. My Samsung is a fantastic TN panel with a ridiculous 1ms response time. For a cheap 27" 60Hz LCD I'd say this is one of the very best....
