[BestBuy] Samsung LED 23", 24", 27"

Thread Starter
Not sure when this started or when it ends, but these are cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.

Samsung LED S23A550H $280 $230 $250 , T24A550 $400 $300, or S27A550H $400 $350

NOTE: The 24" T24A550 is also an HDTV and has VESA mounting, whereas the other 2 are non-VESA monitors.

Edit: Deal ends Saturday.
Edit2: The 23" is still on sale apparently, but only -$30 instead of -$50 before.

why do they have to cripple their displays by only putting an HDMI and VGA? i want DVI, HDMI, VGA, and maybe even component. is that too much to ask for? hell i'll settle for 1 DVI, and 2 HDMI, forget the VGA and component.

It's funny how so many people make this argument. It's the standard for TN panels at the moment. If you want pixel density, get a 30inch or IPS. I'm personally fine with 1920x1080 on a 27". Plus I'd rather play games at the native resolution and 2056x1600 is hard on your video card.

IPS has nothing to do with pixel density.

IPS seem to have higher pixel density under 30", whereas TN panels all top out at 1080p until 30".

Are there any TN panels > 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 at 27" or smaller?

Well they don't technically top out at that, they just aren't made higher res at 24"+ yet for TN panels,

And to answer my other question: http://www.engadget.com/2008/11/06/s...ga-resolution/
