Need help. Suggestions are appreciated =)

Thread Starter
Recently got an 800d. Planning to water cool my system.
Definitely going with a 360 rad (suggestions for rad).

how is: http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0245928

What kind of fans do u recommend? (I'm going to try for push pull)

Is it worth it to water cool my 4890s as well? If so what blocks?

Is a 360 rad enough to cool my phenom 2 x4 955 as well as dual 4890s?

Put some AP-15's or some medium/high speed yates if you want to go cheap. It's up to you if you want to cool your 4890's as well. How hot do they run on air? A 360 rad actually should be enough to cool your cpu as well as your 4890's if you choose to do so. If you want better performance though, go for either the RX360 or the BIX 360. They're both very good performers and should handle your phenom + gpu's easily.

Imo cooling dual GPU effectively will take more than a triple.

You will also have to watch the clearance on the motherboard if you want to push pull, you might want to consider putting the top fans on the outside of the grill. You'll be able to push pull with that rad, but deep ones may cause overhang on the mobo.

Also, consider buying from a different site like: http://www.frozencpu.com/

If you want to cool it all on a single rad I would look at:
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/53...?tl=g30c95s161
(you will HAVE to use high speed fans with this rad (1800 RPM+))

If you want to expand your system to have more rad space, rads designed for lower fan RPM will produce a lower noise level:
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/94...?tl=g30c95s161

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/10...?tl=g30c95s929

The XSPC rads are also good. Less affected by the speed of the the fans, you'll find the low profile RS rads need high RPM fans and the RX will work with anything.
