Not saying the OP is one of these people, but it seems like many people seem to expect a full refund if they decide they don't want something after opening it.
Many of those people even expect the company to pay return shipping, sticking the company with all of the costs associated with the return.
Personally, I'd very much prefer that items I order come in all of their original sealed packaging, and for open packaged items to be offered at a discount.
In a perfect world, there would be restocking fees involved with returns of unwanted items, especially opened ones, and corresponding discounts offered for "open box" items.
I've come to the realization that the "Wallmart mentality" of a few douchbags have screwed up the system for the rest of us though, so I don't sweat it if I get non electronic parts that have been opened previously.
PC water cooling is a low volume niche market within the larger PC enthusiast niche market. There just isn't either enough profit margin or enough volume involved for these companies to operate like the larger e-tailors and retail outlets.
