they never call when something is wrong with my orders, they do call when they want their stuff back since they shipped it by accident

Whoa, I was planning to purchase 2 items from them.
Swifttech MCP655 and MB-ASR3F. Sounds like I need to find a new vendor

If Sidewinder has it, I vote for them. Amazing service with them. I've had a few items come to me tampered you'd say, from PPCS, but I didn't particularly care. I told sidewinder i needed a radiator quick and i paid for the 1-2 day shipping he made a trip to the post office that night (I ordered at 5pm EST) to make sure I got it the next day. Now THAT is service.

Thread Starter
I am over the fact they sent me opened goods, not once but twice. If the fitting leaks then I'll be really pist. Please don't get me wrong, 99% of the time, the stuff I order from them is perfect, and no customs did not open the box... I know I used to work for customs for 6 years and that would be pretty obvious.

The moral of the story is, I dont accept (and I doubt most customers accept) that they knowingly ship opened/returned/unwanted/whatever products to customers who expect to receive the product unused and pay full price and shipping. Who knows? maybe this fitting does leak and thats the reason why it was returned? I just dont think this makes good business practice in like some your say, a 'niche' market.

The fitting itself is not as 'snug' sealing as the unopened one (I brought two btw), there is an obvious difference when pushing them closed. The unopened one takes more force to close, and the opened one doesn't need much at all. Would this mean the rubber seal has 'hardened'?

At the end of the day, it shouldn't matter if I spend $1 or $1000, you should always get what you pay for and as described.

Rant over.

I got 2 compression fittings, a radiator, and some tubing from them just today. When I first looked at compression fittings, they looked to be open items as well. But after closer inspection, they use packing tape to tape the compressions fittings together so they wouldn't be lose in the box. For 2 fittings, was kind of cheesy but anyway. I pulled the packing tape off and the small package that was attached tore on the perforated edge. If you weren't really paying attention, it would def look like an open item. The fitting was spotless, no smudges, prints, anything.

This was just my experiance today and not saying that yours was the same experiance I had. Maybe they need to look at the way they package this stuff a little closerPut the fittings in a zip lock bag or something instead of using tape.
