Cpu-nb 1055t

As I failed to get around 4.6GHz on my CPU (Need better cooling) I thought I'd turn to my Northbridge again...

Iv'e managed to achieve 3200MHz on my Northbridge with CPU-NB @ 1.43V and my RAM at 1706MHz CL7-9-7-24-28 1T @ 1.75V...

What's the highest voltage can the IMC take? Because I have a feeling I could take it much higher if possible

This is for 24/7 usage though guys

Do you run it like that 24/7?

i run mine @1.45v 24/7 when under load
(i dont know if the volts decrease to the IMC when its downclocking itself?)
I wouldnt go any higher though.not worth the increases to risk the loss of a chip....
keep in mind that at some oint the cpu-nb wont be the limiting factor, but the RAM so it becomes pointless knocking the nb higher for no returns you know?
i think the highest stable cpu-nb i got was 4038,but it was slower than 37xx..food for thought

True yeah, it's not worth risking the chip, but eveything is just soo much snappier everytime I get my Northbridge faster.... faster Windows 7 boot-up times too, Would love to see 13.00GB/s on MaXXMEM lol

haha
my maxxmem is feeble due to using ddr2 that doesnt overclock too well...
All the components except the 470s made for a very cheap computer so i cant grumble

lol I thought you was jokeing about the 4GHz Northbridge lol, What did you do to achieve that? I don't think I could hit that with my 1055T because I will just hit a FSB wall and no boot Wish I had a Black Edition CPU lol

my 945 is limited to fsb only OCing too
i think the settings were:
FSB:272x15
CPU Volts:1.504
CPU-NB:1.45
CPU-NB:2800
Memory Bus: 667(slow ram as mentioned above)
I don't really understand how the CPU-NB overclock works in terms of multiplying in relation to the FSB,
i'm not clued up on OCcing - i just relate my experiences
