With ISP caps these days I am wondering how much people actually download. I saw some people complaining about 500GB monthly caps and I was surprised that someone could use that much (without just downloading every blueray movie for fun)

Keep in mind ISP caps count both upload and download. I have Comcast and it uses a 250GB cap, which I could verily easy go over (I already have and received an email). So on average I like to keep it around 200 GB for both upload and download.

I would show you my router statistics, but the power blipped last night so the logs are gone frown.gif

And does all this just get stored somewhere or do you actually use it all?

Only around 100GB but i get capped every single night to what they claim is 2MBits but in reality i only get around 1Mbit with a ping of 200+ for a few hours, say 4-6pm then from 6pm-10pm i am stuck at 2Mbits with round a 100ping. I should mention at non peak times i get 10Mbits with a 30Ping. (Virgin Media UK)

Starting going down to under 50, used to be around 250 ish before.

Too much other things to be worrying about since I had to do so much crap for the end of high school >.>

Really, it varies. Anywhere from 500GB to 1TB.
i have 2 lines coming in.

one on capless for my server (buisness fibre optics from bell)
and one on a 65gb cap i use for pc / xbox 360 gaming, and game downloads

far as it goes, i dont hit 65gb in a month, and believe me ive tried
i game every single day, i constantly download new games at 2-3gb ea to try them out.
i literally have a 320gb external drive with game installers saved on it, so if my HDD ever goesi dont need to re-download it all.

EDIT: the 320gb is full, im now 1/4 way through a 1.5tb external that i recently purchased.
