MSI vs Asus P67 Motherboard

Thread Starter
I am in the process of building a new computer with a 2500k and I am stuck on what motherboard to buy. I can't decide between the MSI P67A-GD65 or the ASUS P8P67 PRO. I have read a lot of the posts in the forums dealing with gaming rigs because that is my primary purpose and they recommended the Asus board. When I went onto newegg, it only had 3 eggs whereas the MSI board had 4. I plan on buying the MSI GTX 560ti and I just want to make sure that I get a reliable board because this is my first time building a computer. Additionally, I choose these boards because I plan on doing SLI in the near future. Can anyone give me some advice on which board I should purchase? Thanks.

They are both nice mobos. You can Google site reviews for these mobos. You should not rely solely on personal reviews. Too many bias opinions because of fanboism For myself, I would go the MSI P67 between the 2 because I do not have any interest in ASUS mobos. Also, you should use some time and check out this thread... http://www.overclock.net/intel-mothe...omparison.html

I would get asus one. Even though msi mobo are nice, Just in my experience with every single msi mobo i have gotten has die 3 years down the line but MSI has always been nice and let me RMA it if my warranty was up like 1 month or 2.
