I think the thermal threshold is 105C but I would consider anything about 80C to be hot. You should see if you can crank the fan up or maybe reapply the TIM.

Why did you buy that card? Its overpriced for what it is and can be matched by a single card of a lower pricerange e.g. HD 6970. Not to mention the issues you'll probably have at some point regarding the SLI nature of it.

Either way, if it idles at that temperature then it is probably a good idea to replace it. Supposedly the card is good up to 105C though.

Low 90's is pretty normal for that card if you're at 99% usage and using the auto fan profile. I used to have one ... it's a hot, loud card, no question about it. It's still pretty sweet though if you got a good deal on it ... AVG FPS is pretty close to a GTX480/570 (although the Fermi's do a bit better in terms of MIN FPS). As long as you didn't pay more than about US$200 for it, that's a solid deal on a solid card IMHO.

Sounds like a good deal, although I'm not familiar w/European pricing on cards. It will be MUCH faster than a 4890, for sure. They tend to overclock very nicely, too. Mine used to do 675c/1496s/2448m (if memory serves), w/o even touching the volts. Although those do have voltage control, I don't recommend messing w/it. It doesn't help much, and it makes temps go through the roof when you start bumping it up.
