P5W DH Deluxe temp help!

Thread Starter
Hi Guys, I am still stuck with my old machine and recently changed my mobo because I needed more that 2GB of Ram!.

I was given a P5W DH Deluxe which is a good replacement board (I think).

All is going well apart from one thing! ( see attachment)

The CPU sits at 23c and SYS is at 49c (which is highish)

but as you can see the AUX is at 120+c, and there seems to be no ill effect.

I reseated the CPU and the big heatsink around the cpu with arctic silver just to make sure!

Should i be worried?

Cheers

Scott

Have you ever seen it change? I'm pretty sure there is only 1 sensor on the mobo for a P5WDH - its a while since I had one though. I'm guessing its an unused/incorrect value.

Try Aida64 - thats normally quite good at naming sensors. If its at 120 from a cold start though its going to be a false reading.
