you're really not going to use the higher dpi settings in a FPS shooter unless you're an extreme flickshot. if you think the hump is too large on your current mouse I again urge you to try the g9x, it has a nice little dropoff for my hand (the razer lachesis was too big for me).

If you use your thumb button and are used to the vertical placement, it's gonna be hard to go to a horizontal placement.

MSIE is the humpiest of the three...LoL

Deathadder is very very light, but it works well with my claw grip. Since I use my wrist mainly with the claw grip, the light weight makes hours of use no problem.

Naos is really comfortable. I have a 3200. I play brink for hours and my hand isn't the slightest bit sore. I'll be a returning customer to Mionix.

Mionix Naos, very comfortable for palm (average size hands), or hybrid palm/claw/fingertip (me and my big hands); get the 5000, if you prefer to play on a hard pad, or get the 3200, if you prefer to play on a cloth pad.

CM Spawn is small and light, with nice rubber grips. Great for claw/fingertip style. Just read here on OCN that the 800 dpi/500 Hz tracking issue and the high LOD issue have both been fixed with a firmware update (YAY!!!). Great little mouse, solid build quality, and with those two firmware issues fixed, it's about perfect. BTW, I live in the States and already have two Spawns, both acquired through eBay at less than the $50 MSRP, delivered. One was new in the box from a private seller, the other was from a website reviewer, who didn't even get the skates broken in, so it's practically new too. They are out there now, if you actually look, and I'm sure the regular commercial release in the US will follow shortly.
