What's faster?

Thread Starter
Should i get 2X GTX 560's? or 2X 6870's..

which card is faster in 2 way and single way mode

both can be had at less then $200 each..

so what would be faster and better overall? GTX 560 SLI or 6870 CrossfireX

I know that HD 6870 in CF scale incredibly well.

Absolutely amazing performance. Can't speak for the GTX 560, though.

GTX560's if you're not doing triple screen, ATI if you are.

They are so close the only real thing to tip the scales is the epic eyefinity support. Nvidia fall behind on the Triple screen support.

Both the GTX 560 SLI and the HD6870 CF are overkill for just 1080, IMO.

A single one of them can handle that res like a breeze.

But I'm not the greatest example, since I'm running an HD 6870 with 1280x1024

I didn't say to not go for it

Just make sure you pair those cards with a decent CPU
