Bump. im not dedicated to either amd or intel.

but considering i can grab either a pair of GTX 560's or 6870's for $380 total i might as well get the better pair for 1080P gaming...

In which case go with the GTX560's.

When I was going with either a GTX570 or a 6970, the only reason I could find going with ATI is their most epic support for tri setup screens.

TBH you can go with a stock GPU and then overclock it. PNY, MSI, Point of View, they are all good makes.

I'd personally go with the MSI GTX560Ti Twin frozrII
