well looks like I"m going to have to withdraw from the competition, pc cooked over the weekend. motherboard and cpu are toast, and no funds to rebuild rig anytime soon

dunno I was away for the weekend, came home sunday and it nada... won't start or do anything, tested power supply and it's good.
but will be quite a few weeks until I have money to rebuild..... I need to finish putting my trans am (avatar pic) and jeep back together and all the funds are tied up in both vehicles for the time being.

I have a feeling some fans stopped working and it overheated, not to mention it was over 100 degrees f in my house saturday according to my thermometer.

That sucks.

You should try to borrow a different CPU if possible to check to see if you're mobo's still OK. Beyond that, it seems that you're out of luck.

Thanks guys, and I'm trying to get my friend to lend me his 2600k to see if it's the processor (no post or anything) and I'll be back, just don't want to leave you guys hanging while I'm down. Unfortunately my trans am has been in project status for the last 1 yr and jeep has been in pieces for 2 lol. I need to get those 2 things done before anything unfortunately.

but I'll be around lurking lol, hopefully I can get up and running sooner, but better safe than sorry.

Don't forget to check to make sure it's not the RAM too. I'm just thinking that it's possible it didn't overheat but the ram has gone bad.

I honestly love this cooler, but I think I'm gonna move on to another one soon, it just looks... A bit to bland compared to other flaming red (literally) coolers on the market.
