It all depends on how much pressure your heatsink gives and the surface area of the die.

When you remove your heatsink, you'll be able to see the spread and gauge how much to apply next time.

For my stock heatsink, pressure is not good, so I would have to double the amount of IC you applied. For you it may or may not be different. You have to remove to check.

That example is for a cpu sized die, or a lidded die.
You should be using half that for an exposed die the size of Cypress.

How are the other 2 on die temps, are they within 5-10°c of each other?

I would actually warm the paste, I carry IC around in my pocket a few minutes.
Apply it using the spread method, apply a line across one side of the die and work it across until the die is covered.

I picked this off a random website, but I know I read it somewhere more legitimate also:

"Application IC Diamond contains a solvent which enhances application to the CPU. For optimum results, after applying a thin coat of IC Diamond on the CPU, DO NOT install the heatsink for 10 minutes to allow solvent to evaporate.

Curing Time IC Diamond requires minimal time to attain peak performance; in most cases, IC Diamond will reach peak performance after two hours of use.

Stability IC Diamond is designed for stability – it will not bleed or separate in normal use."

I really don't want to go out and buy new TIM. Plus IC and ShinEtsu are some of the best stuff out there...excluding exotic TIMs like Indigo.

Anyways.

Are you referring to my second GPU?

Don't you have 3 gpu temps listed?
All 3 of these temps are on the die, good indicator of whether or not the spread is even.
