Sorry, but I'm agoing against that since the extra 120$ doesn't justify for the u2211h or u2311h against an decent open box price.

SSDs aren't worth it IMO. I own two btw.
I would love to have a fast SSD for putting my most played games on. The new SATA III's look nice. It was just a suggestion. The two listed on the OP did not look that great and I thought that this would be an improvement over them...

Thats a solid build you've got there

However, I would swap out that case for something else with more cable management/cooling/quietness.
And yes, get a new monitor now, and maybe another one later on?(drop in to the monitor sub forum for more advice)
Look in to getting an aftermarket cpu cooler, a silver arrow/H50/Antec Kuhler will give you way more headroom when overclocking.

also, dont worry about your graphics being inferior to an xbox, it'll blow it out of the water

Could you suggest something with more cable management/cooling/quietness? I thought the Antec I had picked out did pretty well in all of those categories.

It had better! The hardware is costing me 8x what my xbox did... lol.

As far as a closed loop cooler, I really don't plan on overclocking for awhile. The 2500k was more or less to help prolong the eventual need for an upgrade (start overclocking when then games start demanding it).

Sorry for the late reply,

I'm assuming your after a mid tower chassis.
-Haf 912
-Haf 922
-Fractal Design Arc
-Fractal Design Define R3
-Corsair Graphite 600T
-Corsair 650D

If you want to consider a full tower.
-NZXT phantom
-Haf-X
-Corsair 700D or 800D

As for the cooler, just get a cheap silver arrow, it will still get you loads of headroom over the stock cooler.

Have you got some headphones/speakers yet?

Thanks for the reply.

As far as mid vs full tower, I'm not entirely sure. I don't move very often, so it's going to sit in the same spot for years on end. I would definitely like it to be as small as possible, but if going to a larger case will give me better cooling (especially for that second 560 someday), then I would do it.

Also, I should list some of the things I want out of a case, now that I've thought more specifically about it:

1. no more than $150

2. Tool-less

3. Fairly quiet, no worry cooling (can I get software to automatically regulate my case fans?)

4. Generally simplistic, but not to impress anyone, i.e no hinged front covers

A final note - I'm a mechanical engineer, so I get a lot of enjoyment out of something that is designed and built exceedingly well. When I have to, I will sacrifice and leave this part of my brain dissatisfied, but I already have a Saturn Ion in the driveway, I'd rather not have one under my desk.

With the requirements above, I'm left with the 912, 922, Fractal Design Arc, and possibly the 600T. I like the Arc best, but it isn't sold in the US and won't be out until late July. The 912 and 922 look pretty good. Their styling is a bit noisy for me, but I will definitely sacrifice looks for build quality and cooling performance.

Look at the NZXT H2 or the bitfenix aswell or the fractal design R3.

you make amazing decisions. i really like that you seem to have already looked at other people thinking about making similar builds and followed the advice that they received... or you are just really smart on your own ; )

edit: i wouldnt get a HAF.
