And no. You should not get the NAOS 5000. It's just more adns-9500 trash. Get the 3200 if you're so in love with that grip.

this mouse is really great for palm grip because of its very ergonomic shape..
I have the mouse and my only issue with it is it's difficult to lift the mouse because of its wide shape, but I think it's just a matter of time that I can get used to it..

Overall, the mouse is very great though, just be sure to use a hard pad for the mouse..

Very comfortable mouse, and just great quality overall. People complain about the sensor and the prediction, but those same people complain about everything. If you want a nice palm mouse, the Naos 5000 is a great choice. If you have big enough hands, a claw grip feels good on this mouse as well. I haven't gamed with it yet, but I have no doubts that it will be great for long sessions.

I replaced my Naos 5000 with an Abyssus and I couldn't be happier.

To those who recommended the Sidewinder -- I've owned one in the past, I got it right when they came out. I liked it a lot, but I want to try something different.

adns-9500? I'm guessing that is the sensor? Why is it trash? I'm not in love with the 5000, I've never seen one in person, I just think it sounds like a decent mouse. Why get the 3200 over the 5000?

Not to be a dick, but you just bashed this mouse, but haven't provided an alternative. Do you have a better recommendation?

What are the issues with the sensor? I've done some quick review searching on the internet in the past, but I don't remember anything about sensor issues. I rock a pretty high sensitivity, so I rarely have to lift my mouse up if that is when the issues arise.

Thanks for the replies everyone!!

the answers you seek lie within.

Anyway the answer is that the 3200s sensor doesn't have irremovable acceleration. That's why it's better.

Ah, thanks.

So basically avoid anything with the 9500 or Phillips Twin-Eye?

I would say yes for the 9500. I dunno what the deal with the twin eye is. I would avoid the 2032 twin eye, but I think the 2031 might be ok if the z-axis bug isn't something that happens with every model.

The problem with the avago 9500 sensor is exaggerated. At worst case you would be getting 4-5% acceleration that very feel people will notice

Here are progamers confirmed to be using the mice with the avago 9500
