BTW what's up with Rift? Getting 55 FPS with "past Ultra/custom" details (everything maxed beyond Ultra) on a 5 ghz CPU? I guess maxing everything really brings the CPU to its knees....
But the C1E based on CPU usage due to a FPS cap...that's something I've never seen before...but I guess that's a good thing too...who needs more CPU power if you're capped at 60 fps and only using like 40% of the cpu?
OT for a min
the game has issues with ATI/AMD GPUS the forums are LOADED with complaints, Im running the game at 4.8ghz Ultra settings in town im getting 70fps +on the highest pop server (Wolfsbane) / questing 90-102fps / dungeons solid 65fps+/ rifts where a large number of people around 50-60fps there are some fixes for better fps that can be adjusted in the rift.cfg such as MainThreadCPU = 0 from=3
here are others but I haven't tried them I only use the mainthreadcpu fix
CPU usage is around 40% / GPU around 85% the game is made with Gamebyro engine if that tells you anything.
