460 sli temps

is it common to have one 460 7 to 8 degrees higher than the other one. it seems that the bottom card is always hotter.
That's perfectly normal, reason for that is because the fans are that side and it radiates more heat there.

so your saying the top one is pushing warmer air down on the bottom one.... by the way they are 2 evga ee models.

my top one runs hotter due to the space issue... doesnt help that I have a sound card in between them.

also yes OP, its okay. what are you temps like?

as long as it's under 100c you're perfectly fine, my 570 maxes out at 87c on furmark burning.

download furmark and then stress it. Those temps will pretty much be idle temps.

You'll need to run the multi-GPU edition that'll be either on your desktop or in the start menu

ok i just did a burn in test with furmark 1.9 at 1280 by 720 and my temps were 76c on one card and 86 c on the other and that was for a 5 minute run. does this seem ok. also the fans on these cards realy crank up, i have them set to auto in afterburner.
