Calling all atrix owners!; captivate to atrix.....should I do it? - Page 3

The dual-core CPU and RAM on the Atrix will make downgrading to the Captivate or even Infuse noticeable, I think you would be unhappy with the end result, but meh it's your money and time.

oh I thought he had the Atrix and was considering the Cappy, my bad.

Yeah I'd wait for the Galaxy S2, I am and I'm still on the Original BB Curve. Trust me I want a new phone badly.

thing is I can't be arsed as long as I have something with 2 spanking cores and 1 GB of RAM cause my captivate gets really bogged down and my RAM gets chewed and spat back out just like metro 2033 on the highest settings on my rig

Edit: and the fact I only have to pay $100 more to get something thats like 2x the power of my current phone; a SGS 2 will def cost me an arm and leg
its set for June 6 or 8th launch here, but MSRP is expected to be like 800-850USD~ and I wouldn't expect stock anywhere and people would just bump the prices all the way up

If your getting bogged down now, then yeah you will see a performance increase with the Atrix, outside of the SGS2 it is the fastest and in a view things it actually beat the SGS2 on.

Go with the Atrix, you'll be happy! Then when it's upgrade time you will be ready to take home a quad core smart phone.
