We all know kb&m is more accurate than a controller and thus, if you allow it in games, you alienate the majority of the market who are sofa gamers, the people who might switch on their console for an hour a day to play.

If they were being beaten all the time by someone who sits at their desk with a kb&m, they won't be happy. If you want to play with keyboard and mouse, go use a PC.

360 owners can't complain when they get their arses handed to them by PC gamers, since they have the ability to be on the same playing field.

Alternatively, they could have different "lobbies" set up. You know, like, Controller Only, Mixed, Mouse/KB only, like that.
Sounds like a great idea. They probably thought of that. But then you have to factor in the chance if it getting hacked to allow mouse and keyboard....would would be inevitable.

The only thing that worries me if this actually happens is quality of games. If we're going to get xbox on windows, would we have the same crappy visuals that consoles get? Or would the game be self aware, and present us with advanced options, since its on the pc?

If this were true, I have a hard time believing they will make optimized versions for PC, thus ruining the experience that it should be. Hardware in consoles is so weak compared to what even the average PC users have in their system. I don't see them even changing the hitboxes for the PC version.

yeah on second thought I sincerely hope this doesn't happen

no need to make optimized versions if done through emulators like what they did with XBOX games on 360, not neccessarly ruin experiences specially if the 360 breaks down and your PC is up to the task to emulate the game could be a significant temperary setup till the 360 can be replaced or fixed ^-^,hardware in consoles were always designed to be weak compared to PC's by what i see in it's history but getting the software to run on PC's tho in it's actual form takes a hell of alot of PC power to run at decent speeds, hit boxes will soon change when the developers learn that they can make adaptive hit"boxes" or Adaptive hitcage basically adaptive hitboxes/cage are really just actual forms of the character layed on top of the physical character no dummy boxes are used (works great in CGI films and such) unfortantly takes alot of proccessing power to get it to work right and efficient but luckly the Console is becoming more like a PC then a actual console in terms of hardware being used soo eventually we'll see Adaptive HitBoxes/Cages being used.
