Trying to log on psn with ps4, using a ps3 account.

A message appears 'we found out that that username and email address you use are associated with illegal activities (modded ps3 firmware ). Therefore your current ps4 console online abilities will be disabled until further notice (bricked console)'

Na I'd say Sony will play it smart this time around and go for something good but not expensive. They lost this generation, because of that reason. I'd bet on the GTX2xx or HD48xx equivalent. So it's something more recent and decently powerful for 1080P but not too expensive so that they are forced to jack up the price of the PS4.

A same matchup as Wii2? Don't think it will happen. They likely pick a DX11 chip effect. Also don't forgot there is passive 3d tv, nano-fridge around now. And to me Vista was a failure actually.

I expect ps4's to be 3d or at least to be able to have some 3d games. each console Sony put out seemed to be on a new format, PS was CD, ps2 was DVD and then ps3 went HD with bluray, so for them to make something that had no compatibility with 3d would be ridiculous and just a rebuilt ps3

Don't be ridiculous. I'm sure the PC Master Race would have destroyed all console peasants before that time. Maybe around PS6 or 7.

Noone said that the Wii2 is going to be the underdog like current gen. In fact Nintendo has always fought for "most powerful system" before the Gamecube. So why should Sony go for top this time around? They already said that they don't wish to invest a lot of money into the PS4. I recall the PS2 being significantly weaker that the Xbox, yet was a lot more successful.

And note the: "Equivalent" part. That wouldn't mean that the chip isn't DX11 compatible, only the processing speed.

The TV is just a display, I don't see how that has anything to do with the GPU in the PS4. Vista wasn't a failure, it got a lot of flak in its early release because of bad drivers (seeing that it's the first true new MS kernel for a while) and being ahead of it's time (PC spec requirement wise - everyone wanting to run it on XP spec machines). It was more about reputation (e.g. Mac Ads) than the OS itself that was damaged. FYI you are using Vista 1.5, so obviously Microsoft's marketing worked and did a smart move by renaming/repacking it.

That is invalid answer, tell me about the PSP2 that has intergrated Oled screen instead of TFT.

And TV has do something. You want a quite a powerfull hardware to run smoothly 120 fps. And I don't like having Monster Hunter 4th running the same as MH3 area based map lol.

Vista was a failure actually. Hence the quick release Vista 1.5 that done by someone.

The best investment I ever made in sony was the ps1. My ps2 was stolen 3 days after it was released so that was a failed investment. Ps3 costed way too much to justify other than the bluray player at the time. The only thing I have from sony are my workout headphones which I don't use anymore because for whatever reason it caused acne in my ears. As for the ps4, I don't intend on buying it, but iif it has a xenogears remake or chrono trigger... Ill be one of the first in line.

Huh, invalid answer? I can't see where I even remotely commented on the PSP2's display.

The game doesn't need to run at 120FPS to achieve 3D, only the display has to refresh at 120Hz. In fact there is not one consumer graphics card that can achieve 120FPS in the majority of the games that were out recently. You seriously think that Sony is going to put such a GPU (something more powerful that a GTX580) into the next console to mass produce and take huge profit hits to gamble on it's success? They'd be lucky to sell any if it's to cost that much. I think they've learnt their lesson.

Vista's adoption rate was slow in 07 then almost doubled than XP's in 08. Declined again in 09 because of Windows 7 (Vista 1.5). It was the bad reputation that tainted Vista, Microsoft knew that by simply retouching it, it would boost sales dramatically. So no, it wasn't a failure, it needed to be revamped for the masses. Although you are entitled to your opinions, real ex-Vista users (like me - recently went to Win7 because of the low price) would agree with me.
