In small amounts, it is fine to use epic. I hate the over use of "epic fail" by the self proclaimed tech geeks who know literally nothing outside common knowledge on the subject in which it is used.
Such as, MW. MW franchise blows, it is a common opinion. MW3 will probably suck just as bad as the other rehashed games, but people would say it is an "epic fail". Why? It sucks, but it isn't an "epic fail". The people who would say such a thing couldn't even make a game better than MW, let alone one to stand side by side to MW.
Now I'm not saying someone here applies to this situation. It is just an example as to why "epic" is just as stupid as "pwned".Edited by Zinxe - 5/28/11 at 9:39am
