Until you make the leap to 120 hz (faster refresh rate) or IPS LCD (super high quality LCD screen with really good color; think iPhone screen), you won't notice a real difference between LCD and LED unless you're a total videophile.

I have the ASUS one, I'm happy with it. Like the other guy said, hertz are the only real perceptible difference. Most people can't even tell the difference between 1080i and 1080p (trust me I used to instal HD satellite service).
