Finally my computer is complete - Page 3

well just wait a second. Installing a fan may not be the most benefitial and asthetically pleasing solution. Perhaps try something like this:

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=18623&...=ZALMAN%20TECH

if you'd like something for crazy OC's and your going to be getting a high quality liquid loop, either consider a 50x50mm NB block or a high riser NB cooler (also passive)

http://ncix.com/products/?sku=32191&...e=Thermalright

Plus blowing air on a chip isn't gonna make you a ton of difference temp wise. Or else people would just put fans above their cpu instead of putting heatsinks...

If you are interested in doing some higher OC's and you will be setting up a liquid loop, give this a look:

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=24982

Hope that helps man.

keep in mind this fan will cool all the components under the shroud, so i think its better if you get the fan. watch the video for testing with and without the fan.

your choice.. simplicity wise, id certainly go with the heatsink itself. Same pricing in the end...

I've almost completed my rig too

All i need is another 560 2gb then i'm done.

Although i do intend to modify my GPU coolers.
And i've also ordered another SSD (Force Series 3 120gb)
And maybe upgrade my ram at some point.
And then modify my H50 with tubing and bigger radiator.
And then lap my H50 and CPU.
Then buy some backplates for my GPU's.
Also need to replace most of my 120mm fans.
And then get 1tb HDD for storage.
Could always get a Velociraptor too.
And i need a blu ray drive.
New keyboard and mouse wouldn't go amiss either (with one of those big mouse mats)!

Might even upgrade to Z68 - in which case i'll need another small Sata 3 SSD for caching!

Oh, and i want a 37" monitor instead of 24".

After all that i think i'll be just about finished - unless Bulldozer happens to be quicker - which for the sake of my wallet i'm hoping it's not.

haha very nice.

I dont see why you'd go through all that trouble just to make the H50 better... Why dont you just build your own custom loop. Much more efficient and will perform like 3x better.

Using Matx - so would prefer closed loop sloution. Can't be arsed with any resevoir or anything like that - there's just no room. Would also like it to be zero maintenance because i'm just that lazy.
