Encode DVD to H.264

Thread Starter
I am currently using avs video converter. My dvd has two languages. It only allow me to encode to h.264 using one language at a time. Is there a software that allow me to encode with both languages at the same time while allowing me to switch between the two language via menu when I am playing back the file? Or what's the simplest process to create a h.264 file with dual switchable languages?

WHat container are you using? If mkv you can easily mux in the second audio with mkvmerge. But you would need to demux it from the dvd first.

Unless your doing this because your low on space its much easier to use makemkv and just throw it all into an mkv with no loss of quality. You can select which audio streams yo uwant to include.

What is the best way to compress my dvd with minimal quality loss? I am currently using dvdfab to shrink it. Are the others that can give me better quality?
