"old" mobo new case. - Page 4

If you're going to wait for the CPU and mobo upgrades, by all means wait until Bulldozer comes out. Even if you don't go the BD route, the prices on other AMD processors should drop when it is released. Choose a quad-core or better CPU, there's no point in a dual at this point.

The first of the two cases is a better choice. Always choose the best case you can afford and choose one with a lot of room. I did that 10 years ago, and am still using the same case today. It's seen me through about a half-dozen motherboards and four power supplies.

Ok can someone help me this is urgent I will start soon to move the mobo.

I took at look at the front connectors (HDD LED, POWER SW ON/OFF, RESET SW and Power LED) on the haf912 And these connectors go into Panel 1 input on my motherboard . But I would like to know which hole do I input them? Is there any standard settings or something for all motherboards ?

Can someone tell me urgent please ?

The case also came with a mobo speaker. the beep thing that tell you everything is ok but I think my mobo don't have this. Can you check it out please and tell me where to plug if I have an input ?

thanks.

ok Guys I installed everything and everything is working well. Holy cow the gpu rating is 7.7 on 7.9 wow...

2 little problems.
However when i start the computer. Right after the the bios blue screen a message a appears and it says,

the system fan is not working. Your computer could be damaged.
press f2 to continue.
But I am pretty sure I installed well the rear fan since the fan is turning and hear no "bad" noise.

I plugged the front fan directly to the psu with a molex -> 3 pin connector adaptor and the front one works also well. Do i have to ignore that message? Is there anyway to turn off that message?

My second problem is with the front audio panel. Since I plugged the 'ac97 audio' instead of the 'hd_audio' It is not working. I tried to connect the 'hd_audio' input but it doesn't seem to plug well. I don't want to push it strongly and damage the pints. any ideas?

thanks in advance.

I will try to turn off the front fan to see if the message will apear again
