Logitech Warranty?

Anyone have experience with their warranty services? I bought my G9 a little over a year ago and the right click stopped working last night while I was gaming. I already contacted them about it and I'm awaiting a reply. Anyone have an idea of their turnaround time or if they'll warranty it without the box? I do have my order number and purchase receipt from them. Just wondering about others experiences with their warranties.

It's a good thing I never sold my G500 or MX518 or I'd be really upset.

did you call them? I talked to them about my MX400 left click button (it double clicks by itself), and they are sending me mx518, all I needed is the number form the back of the mouse. it was easy to say the least. I will try fixing my mouse once I get the new one.

their turnaround is based on the price of the product. I had an MX518 where the rubber peeled off the mouse and they sent me a new one, no questions asked, without wanting the old one.

on a separate occasion, one of the LED's in my G930 headset went down and they made me send it in first to make sure it was actually defective. this might be also because they were very limited in stock at the time.

their suppot people are good listeners and decently fast to respond, but for a higher end mouse like that, you might have to send it in.

They contacted me back and had me plug it into another PC to make sure it was not working and that if it was still in the warranty period I'd be getting a G9X when I send the G9 back. I did that then emailed them back saying it was still not working. I don't know how long their warranty period is, but the mouse is only 16 months old. Just waiting on a response from that.

I got my G700 replacement a day ago and they didnt even ask for the defective mouse back! I've tested the replacement and it works great Im gonna continue using the one with the issue ( Side buttons need more pressure to respond ) then keep the replacement as a backup mouse.. I might be able to salvage some spare parts on this down the road.

They sent me a pre-paid shipping label and will be replacing my mouse with a G9X.

Not sure if I like my G9X plus I lost my settings from my G9 and wouldn't have known them due to reinstalls and the G9 keeping the settings in the memory.
