I don't think this is it. I have a relatively clean install of Windows 7 on my PC due to Microsoft Security Essentials causing massive data corruption / crashes. You can look up info about this by Googling "Microsoft Security Essentials causing BSOD." Interestingly, uninstalling it completely alleviated that problem.

That being said, the only programs I have installed (aside from the one game I'm playing) are as follows:

Windows 7
Steam
uTorrent (no downloads/uploads)
Graphics Drivers
Chipset Drivers
Cpuid (installed, but only used for testing)
Real Temp (running in the background).

Thanks for the tip though.

Thanks for the tip, but I'm not convinced it has anything to do with RAM (unless it involves speed/timings). I've ran my modules together and individually with 10+ passes of Memtest with 0 errors.

I'm sure its fine, try it, I would not suggest it if I did not think it would fix the problem. try em at 1.55. bet your lag is gone, at 1.64, I guarantee it's gone.

If your using any software to monitor your hardware temps and usage this can also cause in-game stuttering when the software querys hadware for stats and info.

I used AIDA64(everest ultimate) to monitor my GPU core usage and VRAM usage but noticed i suffered bad stuttering of fps in games.
After i uninstalled AIDA64 this immediately stopped.

Just to make sure it was AIDA64 i reinstalled and tried again....sure,it happened again.

I use MSI AB to monitor my gpu usage now as i use AB to clock my GPU anyway and it doesnt cause stuttering.

Its worth a try
