Hello friends,

I'm on the way to build my first water cooled GPU setup. To be very frank i'm totally noob in this section. My knowledge level is big zero in this part. So i seriously need ur help guys. I collect some ideas while browsing net, wht components i may need to build the GPU setup. Here is my Choices those i hv selected so far. Check out my rig detail in my sig.

1. EK Water Blocks EK-FC260/275/285 GTX - GW - Acetal + Nickel
2. Tygon R3603 hose 15,9/12,7mm (1/2"ID) Clear
3. Bitspower Fitting 1/4" BSPP for 1/2" ID - shiny black
4. Swiftech MCR220-DRIVE REV2 Dual 120mm Radiator With Integrated Pump

Wht else i may need to build the setup. If there is anything missing pls suggest me. Do my current selections compatible with one another? Pls help me out guys.

Regards,
Subhasis Bose

Everything looks good and the only thing missing would be the coolant or distilled plus killcoil/ptnuke.

I think if you buy the rad/pump/res, it will be cheaper and im not too sure how the one you posted performs.

Be aware that the EK Nickel blocks are having random plating issues (flaking). It's unknown yet if all the issues are with the Acrylic versions or if some Acetal have been affected as well. It's also unknown what's causing the issue.

I love my EK blocks, but at the moment I'd suggest getting the copper version.

Which version is your CM690 and where are you planning to install that MCR-Drive ? MCR-Drive is probably too thick to be installed internally at the top of your case.

Don't take this the wrong way but, I would save the money and get a better graphics card before you spend hundreds of dollars for a full cover block and etc.

Just my .02

Which one do u suggest then instead of the NICKEL one?
EK Water Blocks EK-FC260/275/285 GTX - GW - Acetal Or This One EK Water Blocks EK-FC260/275/285 GTX - GW - Nickel

Oops i forget the reservoir part. So r u guys suggest me not to go wth the pump reservoir combo? If i go separate wht brand of resvoir/pump/radiator should i buy?

And me using the first version CM690. Can i use my existing Delta High RPM fans wth any radiator? should the 2X120 mm radiator be sufficient if i add cpu cooling in the same loop later.

However, as gsa700 said, you would be better off using this cash on a new video card rather than water cooling the 260.

Well in that case, I am very happy with my Copper and Plexi EK blocks on my 6950's.

No noise from the leaf blower fans and 45c all day long.

I would recommend using 7/16" ID tubing if you're just using 1/2" barbs. I did that for my build, but I also used hose clamps on top of the hose. I just don't trust water in my computer, and do as much as I can to keep it tightly inside my loop.
