The connection cost $30 a month. I don't live far from lexingtion hence the 0 ping. It's legit I assure you. I ran 2 for giggles when I saw that although it does help that we share the same back bone

That's an amazing price for the speed. Most places will run you $200+ for that.

I'd stick with wired for gaming.

Transfer-wise your WAN likely isn't fast enough to saturate WiFi.
I generally get ~4.5 MB/sec (~36 mbit) from a heavily populated 2.4 Ghz area on my Asus RT-N16 when doing LAN-to-Wifi transfers to the HTPC. Using a G card it was only ~1.5 MB/sec, for reference.
