Yeah funny story, i once "accidentally" unpluged the pump and the computer would
turn off after 20 minutes of heavy use. check the pump and fan cable. but i dont even need fans on my h50 it does 62c passive load.

I think that's your problem. Those fan headers are not going to allow the pump to run at full capacity in AUTOMATIC.

Plug the fan into 4 (if it's a 4pin) or 5(if it's a 3pin). Plug the pump into number 45. Fire up your rig and go to your BIOS. Go to Hardware Event Health and Monitoring Screen > CPU Fan 1 & 2 Setting and let it stay in Automatic Mode for now. Then, under Chasis Fan 3 Setting make sure the value is FULL ON.

Save and Exit your BIOS UEFI. Hopefully this solves the problem. If it doesn't, then:

I am going to suggest that you reseat this cooler, even though you don't want to. Here is what you need to do. First, get some isopropyl alcohol and thoroughly clean off the H50, get all the old TIM off it. Also, gently, but thoroughly clean your CPU. Make sure to dampen the LINT FREE cloth to clean the CPU. If you happen to spill some or get a little too much on the CPU, don't worry, just give it a while to evaporate.

Then apply new TIM to the CPU. Use whatever method you are comfortable with. I like to use the dime sized glop, smeared with a credit card method . Keep in mind that most TIM has a curing period that can vary from a few hours to a couple hundred hours. Here is a review on TIMs and their curing times.

Now reseat your H50 and tighten the screws as you would lug nuts on a car. That means don't go around the clock, tighten one, then diagonally, then a third, then the last.

Tell us if that helps, I surely am hoping so.

Thanks I will do that now.

This ^^^ No matter what connector you use, you should make sure the fan-header does not use some kind of performance preset from the bios. Make sure to turn that off so it runs at 100% all the time.

The fan is at "full on"

I think my tems are like they always were

My max temp is 67c

I think i can go 100 mhz higher on 1.310v what do u think?

I am at 4.2ghz now

I would say that 67C is a good temp for 4.2GHz at full load with an H50. Is that temp while running IBT or something to get 100% load?

Is that the latest version of HWMonitor? I think that AUXFANIN2 is Chasis Fan 3. I wouldn't expect to see an accurate number from it, though, with a pump plugged in and not a fan.

Not trusting the RPM readouts in HWMon, does it seem like your fan on the H50 is spinning that slow? I mean when you look at it?

Yes , IBT full load, 5 runs , 8 threads , high

i believe that's the latest

the fan seems to spin fast or as always.

I really think i have had the same temps ... when i had ud3 the vcore(on auto) use to be like 1.2xsomething , probably 1.24v, and 4.189 ghz , much much cooler ambient temps and i was getting lower 60s, high 50's.

now i'm running 4.20 ghz , 1.310vcore and the ambient temps are much higher(it's Summer) and the highest core was 67c

I'm either going to increase ghz or lower vcore

Man, I wouldn't be upset with 67C at 100% load with 4.2GHz. You're doing good. Better than your original post of 80C, huh?
