Will this PSU die?

Will I burn out this COOLER MASTER Silent Pro M600 if I upgrade to a GTX 570 (550W) and a AMD Phenom II X6 (125W)? In a perfect world, I would by anything I need but I want to get away with all I can without buying more stuff. Thanks

That card is far from pulling 550w, you'll be 100% fine.

I was running my GTX570 and a GTX275 folding on an HX650, that was fine so I can't image you having any issues.

If it was the real power pro...forget it,but the silent pro 600 is a decent unit.

All PSUs die eventually.

However, the GTX 570 won't significantly lessen your PSU's lifespan.

Go for it!

If you asking whether a 600 watt PSU is enough, then you will be fine. Dont plan on SLI though...

GTX 570 doesn't draw 550W. That's the recommend wattage for the entire system. The card itself draws 225W.
