Samsung B2430 faulty or something??

Thread Starter
Hey guys.

I bought this monitor today, Samsung SyncMaster B2430. I also bought an HDMi cable which takes my DVI port to HDMI for the screen. My display doesn't fill the whole screen. There is about a 5mm interval on the sides and about 3mm at the top and bottom. The overall desktop display is a bit blurry, can see the pixels, but movies are brilliant. Does anyone else experience this with this monitor?

Are you using the DVI out on your card and going in to HDMI on the monitor? If so, try a different HDMI source like a game console and see what happens.
