Hauppauge Colossus

So, I bought this peripheral to record my gameplays from X360. However, I am transforming to be a PC gamer primarily now..

I don't think it's possible, but I'd like one of you to prove me wrong.
I'd like to use this Capture Card to capture my pc gameplay somehow..

Like I said, I don't think it's possible, as I've done a few tests, but perhaps one of you can say otherwise. Someone on YouTube said they've done it before..

Here's the product:

Here's the guy who claims he's recording from PC:

It's possible if you use a TV. A standard monitor will not be able to do it as there are no compenent inputs.

I'm not sure how you'd be able to achieve this.. Could you elaborate a little more?

Could you do this on any monitor with HDMI input? Or??.. I know the Dell 24" Ultrasharp has Component inputs.. perhaps you could do it this way??

I am very curious as to how to do this. I think now that it could possibly be done..

hmm... via HDMI

HDMI out from GFX card > into the Colossus > from Colossus into Monitor... Would that work??

EDIT: OR.. HDMI Splitter from my gfx card. One end to Colossus one end to monitor ??? Profit??

Helps?
