Yes, I would be extremely happy about having a product like that available for such a low price.

But IMHO it might be too much of a risk because the mouse world has too many gaymers who are brain washed into thinking they want and need good looking, heavy and very high DPI mice. The market is already filled with an assortment of those kinds of mice that are readily available. Hand them a WMO with the 3090 sensor and they will complain about how there is no side buttons (Understandable)or a weight system and how the DPI is only half that of their friends R.A.T. 7. The market might be too small to be successful, there just aren't enough people who give a **** about having a good sensor in their mouse.

Good luck with the project. This mouse would still compete with and beat the abyssus for much cheaper.

Everything sounds good, but the shape of the mouse is hugely important. Oh, and I definitely need at least one side button. No side button, no sale, at least to me.

Yeah, this is pretty much what I told him.

From the looks of it, the only way I would be able to develop a solid custom base is by marketing the product to competitive gaming sites and or teams that actually care. Anywho, thanks for the input.

Sure, lemme just threaten MS to licensee me an actual IMO1.1 tooling!

Just Kidding biggrin.gif

In all seriousness, I understand that some people need side buttons, but it inevitably raise the material cost to where I'm barely even profiting at all. Anywho this is all talk at the moment. I'll let you know if we push forward.

I like having two side buttons on my mouse for my non-fps excursions. Would perhaps buy one just for a fps mouse, but I could always just get a wmo for that.
I would want at least ONE side button, and I want the mouse to be fit for ANY grip style (I use them all depending on my game and the role I play)

Other than that, yes it'd be nice.

So the WMO by MS is the best mouse ever made and preferable over just about anything else for gaming?

Do I understand this right?

LOD of 2.4mm is pretty high, a little to heavy even at 65g and 3 button makes the mouse entirely useless these days. Maybe if its wireless at 65g then its a semi-decent price at $25

If sensor is dead centered, ME IN!!!@!$#@%^%$&%$^&$%
Oh, Also I need thumb button [a least 1]
And, if possible - rubbercable - a big plus.

And I'd like to have more than 1years warranty, but for this price is not that important.
