You know, I recently came to the realization that OCN isn't a Gaming Forum. Funny that... you'd hardly think otherwise if you didn't look at the other sub-Forums here.

Ahh don't worry about this rating nonsense. Do you like your rig? Does it do what you want it 2? And are you satisfied with the performance? If all 3 are yes then it's all good. People will put my rig on the lower mid cause of my stuff but I don't give a flying grenade what they say lol

9/10 once overclocked.

I gave you a 7 because its certainly adequate for what you do with it. If it were me, I'd get at least a GTX 460 in there though (especially if you go around asking people to rate your system)...
I rate it a 7. Your rig is more than sufficient for your needs. However, I would suggest getting an ATI CF capable GPU to run in hybrid CF with the onboard gpu on your mobo. It will add speed to your video work. Any upgrades you would do to anything else there would be strictly for bravado, but I'm guilty of that because I'm not a gamer, I love hardware and benching. If you are doing alot of photo/video/music work, then a few useful upgrades for you would be to get another SSD or sell that one and get 2 x 64gb's for raid 0 to enhance speed for the editing, encoding, and rendering. Also, add another 500gb WD Black and run those in raid 0 for speed of non essential programs and basic storage of your finished work as well. Keep a system image backed up on an external with acronis, or just to store important files. I just built a rig for a lady that does photography & videography. I set her up the same way and it absolutely murders all her tasks. You still have a strong rig for your work so don't listen to these people trying to tell you do all these upgrades that wouldn't give you much more power for what you do than what you already have. Hope that helps!

Ill give you an 8.5/10 on AMD systems, since the graphics will hold you back some, but 7/10 out of all systems overall.

since you said that you are not a gamer, then your gpu does just fine for your needs.

if you ever want to play games with this rig, first thing you should upgrade is your gpu. your cpu is fine until you decide to switch to a high-end dual gpu. because phenom2 architecture is old and will cause a bottleneck with high end dual gpus and probably with amd southern islands&nvidia kepler.

possible upgrade paths:

#1
cpu. 1100T
gpu: HD 6970 & gtx 580

#2
cpu: Bulldozer, i7 2600K-2500K
gpu: HD 6990 & GTX 590

#3
cpu: Bulldozer, i7 2600K-2500K
gpu: AMD southern islands&nvidia kepler
The first path, That's obvious

Just i would get the 6850 its better than the 6870 and sub 200$!
