Lower stable voltage >without LLC<

Thread Starter
I've been reading up on LLC and read through some of the posts here on ocn. So after doing some reading I figured I'd try a few new settings, I enabled speedstepping, C1, disabled C3 and C6, turned EPU on and enabled "highest power savings" in bios. I also increased my cpu PPL from 1.6v to 1.85v for kicks.

The result is about .06 less vcore required to be stable in prime/folding/ibt, however temps pretty much stayed the same as far as I can tell. The sun is on my rad right now so I'm getting the my highest temps for the day. However I did fold it last night and it completed 1.66 WUs while I slept.

Just thought I'd share, my chip isn't the greatest but I'm pretty happy with the results.

*Also IBT seems to get quite a bit hotter than Prime, I used blend though as well as 2000mb of ram, there are probably hotter settings I could have used but I just wanted a quick run to show at least some proof of blend stability.*

I lowered LLC to 1/2 on my Athlon today, and I don't need almost 1.5v to get it stable anymore, only about 1.43-1v44 ish. Temps aren't reaching ~70 because it ain't spiking to 1.52v with LLC on, max is about 50ish now (it's cold today)

So yeah, everyone go turn off LLC or at least turn it down
