Im sure ill figure it all out once the PSU arrives, if I have to get a new case int he future its not a huge deal

you'll have to get a new case. That thing won't fit in the optiplex box. Your going to upgrade it to a quad or do the bsel mod on it?

Ill figure out something to get it running so I can use the system, even if it doesnt fit how its supposed to.

But when i upgrade ill probably look at new motherboards and possibly go with amd, probably whatever makes sense and is cheaper. I just really dont have the funds right now.

Do you think there would be any problem leaving the PSU outside of the box? Also is there any problems that would exist between the new PSU and the connection cables in the existing case? There wont be any kind of compatibility issues would there be?
