MY friend is planning to build his very first computer. This computer will be used for gaming mainly. He does not need an SSD. He wants 2 TB of storage. He already has all peripherals. He just needs a rig.

I don't really pay attention to SB or 1366 all that much. It would be more helpful for people with more knowledge.

OK for that build i'd go with the Corsair tx650v2 You could go with the corsair 600w PSU if it's considerably cheaper.

Good choice on the motherboard and memory.

Well, I'd probably go with the GTX560ti, it retails for about $240. If it's in your budget get two for SLi. If not, then save the rest of the money and then get a second one. They are the nuts.

Who said anything about RAID, you can put multiple hard drive in a system and not have RAID.

Unless he will be downloading a TB of porn in the first couple of days, I think it's safe to just go with one in the first couple of weeks.
