Pump question

Thread Starter
Hello again guys!! First of all i have to thank you all to the very fast answers and for your help you offer me ) This forum is really awesome!

So, my question is.. I have bought a rasa 360rs kit plus an 140mm radiator( so that means my loop will have 360rs radiator plus an 140mm x2).. I haven't plug them yet but i am thinking on just giving some more money to upgrade the pump buying this http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...-0--Pump-.html plus an simple reservoir for my loop.. Because i wanna watercool 2600K plus gtx580 sc, i will make also a bit overclock so i think rasa pump won't be very efficiece..
This pump gives 800lph plus 4m pressure and rasa gives 750lph and 1.8pressure.. what do you believe?

Sorry for some mistakes

It's a very good pump, yes, performance is easily comparable to a DDC, and it's a bit quieter and more reliable.

and for reservoir something like that you know.. http://www.eworld.com.gr/front/details/1186 .. so upgrading pump (ek pump) will give me for sure better results instead of having this one of rasa kit http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...voir-pump.html ??

The reservoir doesn't usually make a difference in loop performance, but yes, you'll get better results.

Can't seem to follow your links which is a shame, but the specs on that pump sound good.

Just wanted to throw the XSPC single bay res out there for consideration because while a res doesn't affect performance, this one is awesome at getting air out of the loop, which does.

this is the pump of the kit (combo reservoir+pump)
http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...voir-pump.html
and i wanna buy this
http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...-0--Pump-.html
reservoir will be something like that..
http://www.aquatuning.de/product_inf...Pro-25-LT.html

but i don't know if there is any way to remove the pump from the xcpc combo and just keep reservoir and not buying new reservoir...

Yeah you can't really remove the pump from the combo. I'd just sell it to recoup some cash.

Go ahead and get the pump you have mentioned above and get a good res. There are no ups or downs about different res's.It's more about fitment, looks and price. All res's will work even though some do allow air out of the system better than others.Bay res's are the simplest to install and you can usually fill pretty easy.

If you want to consider an alternative, the MCP35X is good, same with the MCP655 but that pump seems pretty good. The MCP35B is out. It's the MCP35X without the speed control.
