OCZ Solid 3 120GB being really slow. (New Build)

Thread Starter
I bought an OCZ Solid 3 120GGb to use in my new build. Before installing Win7 I set my sata controller to 6Gbs and set the SSD to AHCI.
(I'm using an Asus Crosshair IV motherboard.)
I went to bench the SSD and I'm only getting like 150Mbs write and 220Mbs read. When the drive is rated up to double that.

Did I do something wrong, or is there something I need to fix?

What controller and driver are you using?

If you used AS-SSD or other benches that use incompressible data (movies and the like) ten the score is correct and it is what you should expect when writing something like x264 HD movies. Use Atto and post a pic of your bench results.
