Dell Vostro 3300

Up for appraisal is my Dell Vostro 3300 Thin and Light laptop. I purchased it a few months ago directly from Dell for $600. I'm looking to sell it because at the time of purchase, I was going to be doing a fair bit of traveling and I wanted something light. Now, I want something with a larger screen and keyboard.

Specs:

Intel Core-i3 370M, Dual Core, 4 threads, 3MB cache
2GB DDR3
250GB 7200RPM HDD
13.3" LED screen
Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit, with valid COA

Battery still lasts 2.5 hours at medium brightness, and overall a very speedy laptop.

Issues:

There's only one kind of big one. When I first got it, I scratched a cross-hatching pattern into the palm rests for grip when typing. It looks kind of ugly, but you can't really feel it when typing.

Pics attached.

Will ship in original box, with clean install of Windows 7 along with all recovery media. As an added bonus, free 8GB SD card comes with the laptop.

Any ideas of how much it's worth?

i'm assuming this is doesn't have a dedicated video card.

in that case, i would say this would go for maybe $425 shipped.

you might be able to grab up to $525 if you go ahead and change out the touchpad/palmrest but they cost around $70 new on ebay.

GLWS!

scratching up the palmrest really degrades resell value.

Yeah, I really regret doing that.

I don't trust myself to change out the palmrest though. D:

tbh, it's not the hardest thing in the world. all you do is unscrew a couple screws. pop the kb then unplug the touchpad and then replace and tada. you're done.

you can always watch youtube videos that show you.

but honestly, i don't think it's worth the difference. if anything, just keep the laptop as a back up. most people won't buy things that are cosmetically damaged. good luck with sale!
