X3, 50 Celsius and errors?

Thread Starter
Hi there,

i have X2@X3 4GHz, 1.5V. 33-38 on idle. The problem is, that when it's hot in my room, and i run stability test on all cores (orthos) one of them is notifing error in maybe 10 minutes, when the temperature reaches 51 degree. I've tried to do same thing when i've opened my balcony door, and temp is about 43 degree. And now, there is no errors at all!

What should i do? Why it doesn't like 51 degree, while it isnt that high...

Cheers

Your overclock is not stable.

KB, Peen is correct. You not stable You need more voltage but do not worry. Your good to upper 50's with no worries under load.

The thing is, that when it's not hot in my room, everything is absolutely ok... yep it's not stable now - it must work whether it's cool or not. But raising vcore wouldn't help anyway

Get a better CPU cooler this should help. Also please fill out your system specs in user cp. This will help us help you by knowing what your running.

Guy's **** that :-). Why should i worry if i can't even notice it at everyday use? I'll consider lowering if something won't work

Thanks guys!

I would agree that you should get a better cooling system so you can get better temps as well as a better oc.

Ehh that probably isn't the way to go. It may be stable when it's idle, but it can go very silently...

On 100% usage on 2 of 3 cores it is fully stable and temps are no more than 46 degree. Idle - 35-36.

not much noise
:-)

but - is system slowing down, if it come across an error i calculations? Is it common?
