But honestly,I never understood how dual GPU VRAM works. Same as regular SLI/Xfire?

Based on their previous pricing for such a card, think $1200.

Wrong, most people buying this would have money to burn.

Only dumb people buy the Mars versions of graphic cards.

If this card has 3gb on it, thats only 1.5gb per GPU, meaning 1.5gb usable vram. Which isn't enough for extreme resolutions.

Now 2560x1600 would probably work alright, but its not enough for triple 1080P with high res textures or anything.

Thread Starter
Pros:
2x full 580 GPU's that should OC well "if they want to sell the card" possibly the fastest card (I think they expect this to take the "crown" back)

Cons:
1.5gb x 2 RAM, however as I see it if it has close to the performance of x2 580's in a single card.. that is really powerful. The regular GTX580 only has 1.5gb of ram. I doubt this will be remotely cheap.

Thoughts:
so imagine SLI-ing this beast If you get somewhere in the ballpark of 4 GTX580's in SLI... Thats a lot of processing power. I would hope it doesn't run too hot.
