So after years of dreaming, (and my last rig getting stolen and covered by insurance!) I have built my first high end rig....

No im not a spoiled rich kid, im a adult in his mid 20's with a family and life...

and before anyone says razer stuff is cr** or whatever, they have been good to me, and its insurance money im gonna use it

yes its been bought everything is new and ocnsidring i have a friend in the buisness im getting the proccessor for under a 100 canadian, im not gonna pass it up

Oh completely agree in that case.

It's a nice build you've got there, since you got the processor on the cheap I would do the same.

I assume you're doing RAID5 with a hot spare for your storage drives. Please tell me you're not using all 6 drives as a single drive.

actually no as im gong to be doing a ton of video editing in high def i wont be doing any raids... Just pure storage .. i considered sandy bridge but honnestly this processor is overkill, as my last rig was a i3 and i made by nicely ... So just couldnt justify the extra money

Thanks for the warm welcome and frankly im used to it, The co-owner of my buisness who is a computer nut himself claims this is a cr*p system just cause its not his ... His is a sleeper lol (even though its a dual core in a 10 year old case .)

As for overclokcing not sure always been a stock man, but im considering it never odne it before so could be interesting!

Ok,

I'll be honest, because you're doing high def video editing I would seriously consider a RAID5 array. You need the redundancy to ensure you don't loose your work.

If you don't want RAID5 Then RAID0+1 would be epic for performance and redunandy. But you'd only be left with around 6TB of usuable disk space.

probally consider a raid 5 tbh... As all my games and stuff will be on the ssd im not horribly worried about preformance... ...
